Analytical and numerical modelling of materials, prototypes and products enables us to improve our understanding of how they function and perform, and to optimise them numerically to best meet your specifications.
Numerical simulation is an excellent way of reducing the time and cost of developing solutions by cutting out prototyping and experimental characterisation.
Producing prototypes in-house enables us to reduce the development time for solutions and to identify practical subtleties early on. Prototyping is carried out by cutting and assembling acoustic materials and by additive manufacturing of components.
We also have a class 1 portable sound level meter for precise pressure measurements. Standardised measurements requiring specific equipment can be carried out by partner test centres.


Conventional acoustic materials - foams, felts, heavy masses - are very useful and relevant in the majority of applications. Their price is low and their acoustic performance is potentially high and generic.
When a solution that goes beyond the capabilities of conventional acoustic materials is required, it is possible to turn to acoustic metamaterials or 3D-printed acoustic materials. These can deliver high levels of customized acoustic and mechanical performance.
